Blocking unknown outbound traffic from random apps
alfred@04a3cf8d Thursday 15th May 2025, 22:38:50Hi everyone,
I noticed that some unknown applications are attempting to connect to the internet without my permission. GetOverX Shieldβs firewall notified me, but I'm not sure how to permanently block them.
Is there a way to create a persistent rule for these apps? Any advice would be appreciated!

Hi!
You can create a persistent outbound rule by going to Firewall > Rules > Outbound, then click Add Rule and specify the application's path.
Set the action to Block and make sure to check the "Remember rule" option.
This should prevent any future outbound traffic from that app.
We're here if you need help setting it up.
